Production Materials:
Main materials of soap production is natural plant oil, animal fat, and caustic soda. The oil and caustic soda do saponificaiton reaction, and produce soap and glycerin.
Oil and fat include: palm oil, palm kernel oil, coconut oil, cotton seed oil, tallow, etc.
Soap noodle is a semi-product, and it is also made from oil and caustic soda. Some soap factories use soap noodle to produce soaps. The best soap noodles are from Indonesia and Malaysia.
Advantages and disadvantages of the two production modes:
To use oil to produce soaps, it is easy to control the quality of products. More investment, along with more profit. Except the soap machines, it needs one set of 2 ton/hr steam boiler, 300 m3 workshop, 10-12 workers, electric power 380 V, 200 kW. All machines and spare parts are loaded by 3 x 40'GP containers.
To use soap noodle to produce soaps, it need to invest less machines and less materials. Easier production technology, and relatively less profit. It doesn't need a boiler. It needs 100 m3 workshop, 5-8 workers, electric power 380 V, 60 kW. All machines and spare parts are loaded by 1-2 x 40'GP containers.

Laundry soap line: 300-500 kg/hr, 1000-1500 kg/hr, 2000-2500 kg/hr, 3000-3500 kg/hr.
Toilet soap line: 300-500 kg/hr, 800-1000 kg/hr, 1500-2000 kg/hr.
Differences between laundry soap line and toilet soap line:
Toilet soap's quality is higher than laundry soap, so toilet soap line adopts stainless steel machines, while laundry soap line could adopt carbon steel machines.
Toilet soap is oval, and laundry soap is soap bar, so the two lines has different cutting machines.
