This small capacity fish meal production line is specially design for our customers who want to process leftovers like fish head, fish sausages and offals, also can deal with small whole fresh fish, the whole production line has a compact structure, good-looking appearance, easy operate and good performance.

1 Raw material & finished product:
Fish Meal is an excellent source of protein and is also rich in essential ammino acids, vitamins and minerals. It is a natural balanced feed that is high in protein, energy, minerals (calcium and phosphorus), a natural source of vitamins (including choline, biotin, vitamins B12, A and E).
It is long been recognised that the fishmeal inclusion in chick diets greatly improve disease resistance in poultry, the anti-inflammatory properties of fish meal not only limit in poutry, also works in aquaculture, mariculture, livestock etc industry. Fish meal is a supplement in addition to other feeds.
There are three types of raw material processing plants:
1) high protein fish meal and fish oil plants which convert fish, mostly fish freshly caught on the sea into fish meal. In other word, high protein fish meal floating plant.
2) high protein fish meal and fish oil plants which process fish, such as sardine and anchovy to recover high value fish oil as well as produce high protein fish meal on land.
3) high protein fish meal and fish oil plants which process lean fish into white fish meal. in this way the protein rate of meal is also high, least or none fish oil output.
Generally, the protein rate and quality of fishmeal from a floating plant is superior than a land plant.
2 Processing of high protein fish meal and fish oil plants:
Fishmeal is made by cooking, pressing, drying, grinding, and cooling of fish or fish waste to which no other matter has been added. It is a solid product from which most of the water is removed and some or all of the oil is removed. Usually four tonnes of fish can produce one tonne of fish meal.
fish meal and fish oil processing line is as follow:
1) Cooking: A commercial cooker is a long, steam-jacketed cylinder through which the fish are moved by a screw conveyor. This is a critical stage in preparing the fishmeal, as incomplete cooking means the liquid from the fish cannot be pressed out satisfactorily while over cooking makes the material too soft for pressing. No drying occurs in the cooking stage.
2) Pressing: A perforated tube with increasing pressure is used for this process. This stage involves removing some of the oil and water from the material and the solid is known as press cake. The water content in pressing is reduced from 70% to about 50% and oil is reduced to 4%.
3) Drying: If the meal is under-dried, moulds or bacteria may grow. If it is over-dried, scorching may occur and this reduces the nutritional value of the meal.
4) Grinding: This stage is the breakdown of any lumps or particles of bones.

Fish liquid after vertical oil water separator work, fish protein water retained a variety of nutrition, such as water soluble protein, vitamins, and inorganic salts, etc. But water content as high as 90% - 95% of fish protein water must go through concentration, can add to drying machines, and can be the fish protein content increased from 2% to - 3%, fish meal production increased by 20% - 30%, so the production out of the fish meal as "whole fish meal"
